K-1 is a kickboxing organization, and it isn't talked about much stateside because it's too classy for the average Affliction-touting MMA fan.
K-1 has a lot of fighters sorted into the heavy and light heavyweight division, which is where most of the action you see here takes place. There are other divisions, but not as full as the first two. The organization is also now feeling somewhat of a financial squeeze, a shame because legendary fighters the likes of Cro Cop and Ray Sefo were born in it.
